Meet Carolyn

You know that feeling you get when you're facing the pressure to look as though you have it all figured out (and you're not supposed to have to try too hard to get there), except really you don't have it all figured out, and you feel like you're the only person faking it?  I'm here to help you find relief from that pressure so you can spend less time stuck in a competition and more time connecting meaningfully with the people who matter to you.

Self-Compassion

With the advent of social media came the increased pressure to compare your own day-to-day with everyone else's highlight reel.

Some days, even knowing that you are only seeing others' good days isn't enough to silence the voice in your head that everyone else has it easier or better than you.

Imagine feeling confident in your own skin and able to not only genuinely celebrate the strength of others, but also appreciate your own vulnerability without feeling "less than."

Learning self-compassion can be a first step in finding relief from the harsh self-judgments  of your own appearance, parenting, successes, relationship, and on and on.

There's no need to continue to feel like you have to "improve" yourself in order to be happy.

Self-Compassion workshops combine physical fitness (such as yoga or bootcamp classes) with reflective activities designed to help you find relief from suffering and learn to identify and honor both your strengths and weaknesses.

Check the workshop schedule to find your next opportunity to take a step toward feeling better.

"Spend more energy connecting meaningfully with the people you love."

When your concern is for your child...

Watching your child struggle with anxiety, behavior, etc. can bring up insecurities about your own decisions as a parent and concerns for your child's well-being.

When you schedule individual sessions for your child, I will also spend time regularly meeting with you as the parents to ease concerns and provide tools and strategies for increasing your child's chance of success in the therapeutic process.

No more leaving your child while you sit in the waiting room week after week and wonder what happens in the therapy session.
