My Story
In the early 2000s, with my B.S. in early childhood education from Texas A&M University, I set out to to try my hand at "adulting" with a job as a kindergarten teacher.
Over the next decade or so, and through multiple cities, grade levels, and school positions, I began to notice how often the parents of my students would voice insecurities and concerns when sharing their own worries about their children.

That was when I first began to consider pursuing a counseling degree.
By the time I graduated with my M.Ed. from The University of Saint Thomas in Houston, I had discovered a passion for working specifically with women, whether they be seeking help as individuals, wives, moms, or in some other capacity.

I spent a few years nurturing that passion as a school counselor, while working on my internship as a Licensed Professional Counselor (fancy title for "Texas says I can be a therapist").

Finally, the time came to say goodbye to schools and hello to joining a private practice.

Now, I work as an LPC Intern at two locations in The Woodlands, TX, each with a different supervisor and specialty.
